Q. Who is Mr. Smarty Plants?

A: There are those who suspect Wildflower Center volunteers are the culpable and capable culprits. Yet, others think staff members play some, albeit small, role. You can torture us with your plant questions, but we will never reveal the Green Guru's secret identity.

Answered by: Joe Marcus

QUESTION:

We need growers timetable guide for native plants from seed to salable size. Any already published guides out there?

ANSWER:

While there are any number of books that deal with native plant propagation, we know of no guides of the type you're describing which deal with the production timing of natives.
