Q. Who is Mr. Smarty Plants?

A: There are those who suspect Wildflower Center volunteers are the culpable and capable culprits. Yet, others think staff members play some, albeit small, role. You can torture us with your plant questions, but we will never reveal the Green Guru's secret identity.

Title: Bees knees squeezing
Answered by: Barbara Medford

QUESTION:

Barbara, Do the knees of bees help them squeeze if they please their wobbly, bobbly, knobbly balls of pollen?

ANSWER:

No, but when their toes are froze to their clothes, they have to survive alive in the hive in order to thrive until their chilly frilly skirts thaw their curls because the worker bees are girls. Of course.
