Habitat: In damp soil, often inundated, beside slow flowing, fresh water drain. Full sun.
Description: Perennial w/slender, lax, much branched culms to 40+ cm tall. Sheaths shorter than internodes. Ligules minute. Blades thin, flat, glabrous, 3-8 cm long, 1-4 mm wide. Glumes rounded, scabrous, often erose at apex. Lemmas 2-2.5 mm long w/awn 1.5-5 mm long.
