Habitat: Full sun. Mixed brush & grassland on clay. North facing slope.
Description: Annual; heavy tap-rooted plus many fiberous roots, erect to 1 m tall; striate w/ascending branches above. Leaves alternate, pedunculate, rhombic-ovate, to 3+ cm long, nearly as broad; cuneate basally; rounded to acute apically; coarsely dentate distally. Infloresence spicate glomerules from upper axils; densely farinose. Seed 1 mm broad, black, puncticulate.
