Habitat: Nearly level, vacant, undisturbed land. Thin, rocky soil. A few Quercus and Diospyros trees.
Description: Prostrate annual. Stems--many, pubescent, much branched. Leaves opposite, blades ovate-oblong, twice as long as broad, serrulate apically, stipular. Seed oblong, quadrangular, .9 mm long, acute apically, sharply angled, pale pink-brown w/white coat, facets w/5-7 sharp transverse ridges.
