Habitat: Some shade, above average moisture, deep alkaline soil.
Description: Tufted perennial. Culms to 30 cm, erect, sparingly branched. Blades 4 x 100 mm, tip sharply attenuate. Spikes digitate, 3-5 per panicle, 5 cm long, 2 mm thick, ascending. Lemma 2 mm long, apically bidentate with awn .5 mm long and abundant white cilia, 5. mm long.
