Habitat: Moist, alluvial soil. Full sun. Few and scattered.

Description: Erect, single stalk to 33 cm, from basal rosette. Essentially naked scape up to the terminal infloresence, 8 mm dia. Leaves lyrate pinnatified, to 18 cm long, medium green, succulent. Infloresence repeatedly small branched to terminate in solitary heads 6-7 mm high. Rays 18-20, yellow. Disk flowers absent. Pappus: white, capillary bristles, persistent.
