Abstract

Examines the effects of flooding in calcareous soil on tropical fruits including Annona glabra. Flooding can be advantageous because the solubility of certain nutrients is increased and the soil redox potential is reduced. However, prolonged flooding can negatively affect trees, the extent to which is species-specific.
