Abstract
Evaluates tree seedling survival of seven species planted to restore tree islands in the Florida Everglades. Seedlings were planted on newly constructed tree islands at different elevations and with or without limestone cores. Annona glabra had the highest survivorship rates among all species by the end of the study. Annona glabra biomass was similar at all elevations, while seedling biomass of Chrysobalanus icaco and was greatest at the highest elevations.Suggested Citation
