Abstract
Investigates the use of clipping and spraying jasmonic acid on the growth of Solidago canadensis in Europe, where the species is invasive. Clipping early in the study did not affect the final height of S. canadensis compared to the control; however, clipped plants had thinner stems. This information may be useful in assessing the tolerance of Solidago canadensis to roadside mowing.Suggested Citation
