Abstract
Evaluates two aspects of species diversity, richness and evenness, in prairie microcosms in a greenhouse setting. As seed density increased, evenness decreased due to dominance by Rudbeckia hirta. This may indicate that Rudbeckia hirta may be a strong competitor in a community setting when seeded at high densities.Suggested Citation
