Abstract

Examines establishment methods of native grass seedlings, including Panicum virgatum and Sorghastrum nutans, in a Nebraska sandhill. Seedling survival was greatest in rototilled, irrigated treatments on a lowland site. Competition from existing vegetation limited establishment.
