Abstract
This meeting abstract describes the effects of burning on genet, ramet, and seed bank dynamics of the Florida scrub species Bonamia grandiflora. Density was highest in recently burned and open sites although there was significant variation between sites and years. Seed bank results indicate that this seeds are long-lived and accumulate in the soil over time. Burning resulted in delayed flowering but a significant increase in seed production and seed rain.Suggested Citation
