Abstract

Investigates the effects of inbreeding in Gaillardia pulchella, an obligate outcrosser. Inbred plants had lower survivorship, greater morphological abnormalities, and slower growth than non-inbred plants. The effects of inbreeding were not dependent on resource availability.
