Abstract
Examines the effects of grass litter on emergence of Panicum virgatum, Schizachyrium scoparium, and Sorghastrum nutans. With the highest litter density, emergence of P. virgatum and S. scoparium decreased significantly. At the medium litter density, S. nutans emergence increased. Emergence of S. nutans decreased under its own litter, while emergence of S. scoparium decreased under litter from P. virgatum.Suggested Citation
