Native Plants
As a service to the public, the Lady Bird Johnson Wildflower Center collects information on native plant societies, conservation groups, governmental agencies, botanical gardens, arboreta, and other plant-related organizations throughout North America. Native Plant Focus: We maintain a garden for water conservation (xeriscape), compost demonstration sites and gardens and native plants collections; we stress biodiversity and IPM strategies as well.
Description: The Rutgers Gardens are a 50 acre arboretum and public garden containing a wide variety of species in plant collections arranged in landscape settings. The Gardens are widely employed for education.
