"Plant 4-12 inches long, stems trailing along the ground. Opposite leaves are smooth and broadly oval, almost as long as broad. Flower clusters may or may not be short-stalked, individual flowers have greenish white petals that are bent downward and each lobe is about 1/2 inch long. The 5 pouch-shaped hoods are pale rose. Seedpods are broadly spindle-shaped and up to 2 1/4 inch long." (Bibref 1336)
