Long-tube Evening-primrose is a nearly stemless, clumped perennial with rosettes of deeply toothed, oblong-linear leaves. Flowers are slender-tubed, with four yellow petals and four green sepals. The sepals turn purple with age. The tufted plant is usually less than 8 in. tall.

Oenothera flava (A. Nels) Garrett, is it true that this plant is not in Michigan? Is it rare or something? Because I had a hard time trying to find out what it was.
