Tiny white flowers hanging in loose clusters in narrow branched racemes atop leafy stems. Flowers: Calyx about 1/4" (6 mm) wide, with 5 lobes attached to a pale green, cup-like base about 1/16" (2 mm) long, upper lobe largest; petals 5.
There are two forms of this flower. If the leaves are cut to the top of the leafstalk, this is the variety trifoliata; if the leaves are lobed but not cut, then this is the variety unifoliata.
