Leaf: "Leaves dark green on upper surface, lower surface lighter, coriaceous, ovate to ovate-elliptic, 4-10 cm long, 1.5-5 cm wide, glabrous, apex acute to rounded, base rounded or truncate to subcordate, basal lobes sometimes overlapping, petioles 4-10 mm long." (bibref: 1798).
Flower: "Flowers unisexual, yellowish green, glabrous or with scattered hairs, peduncles 1-2 mm long, glabrous or with scattered hairs, rachis simple or forked, usually elongating up to 30 mm long in fruit, glabrous or with scattered hairs, pedicels 1.2-5 mm long; calyx tube of staminate flowers 7-8.5 mm long, outer lobes 2-2.8 mm long, 2-2.7 mm wide, inner lobes 1.5-2 mm long, 1.7-2 mm wide; calyx tube of pistillate flowers 4.5-6.5 mm long, outer lobes 1.5-3 mm long, 1.2-3 mm wide, inner lobes 1-2 mm long, 1.2-2 mm wide."
